The only grape variety in Alsace used to produce rosé and red wines. A very pleasant wine, that makes an excellent accompaniment for meat, game, grilled dishes and cheese.
Cherry red colour with glints of ruby. Crisp structure with velvety tannins.

Nose

The nose is expressive with toasty and vanilla notes mixed with some spicy notes.After a slight aeration, the 2nd nose has notes of cherry compote and fruit paste

Palate

The attack on the palate is full. The structure is opulent with roasted flavors. The whole is structured with a tannic structure melted but a beautiful freshness that carries the wine until the end of the tasting.
